Due to an email newsletter sent by AirAsia ,I am interested in opening an info about how to pay for AirAsia tickets by using a bank debit card provided by Mandiri Bank, after I browse the internet the service has been open since the end of november 2013 , and this time the Bank Mandiri is promoted, information AirAsia instead of email and not the bank, where I subscribe to information updates from both companies.
The service will be charged a processing fee of Rp. 27,000 , for me this is quite expensive, due to online payment should be more systematic and practical for service providers , so it does not require a lot of human resources in handling.
According to the frequently asked questions page Air Asia, explained that debit cards are accepted AirAsia Indonesia existing 2 , namely Mandiri and BNI , the use of debit cards should be done here like using a credit card and not to the ATM machine, so users still prompted to enter the CVV for Visa / Mastercard and CID for American Express , somewhat unique because at AirAsia are stuffing CID pages on the site although no visible AirAsia supports payment using American Express .
At the time I tried this feature, at the top it said that the service will be charged a processing fee of Rp. 27,000 , for me this is quite expensive, due to online payment should be more systematic and practical for service providers , so it does not require a lot of human resources in handling.
Then I tried to find another alternative, perhaps there is the Mandiri internet have payment features for Air Asia tickets , but after several times checking on the internet there are standalone pages feature e- commerce payments to Air Asia, but in the history of the site history Mandiri bank, the service is never available again, ie by activating Authorized Payment by clicking the Administration – Authorized Payment – Activation , but when I checked this morning , the feature is not there.
So for traveler friends who have Mandiri / BNI debit card or in Indonesia known as ATM card, this way can be used as an alternative payment to hunt cheap ticket Air Asia, although quite expensive processing fees, but at least you do not lose a seat saving or even free, happy hunting.
